  Great place to walk or ride a bike, the views are some of the best within the city area. Herons, eagles and other birds can be spotted. I love it so much I have a million photos of it, some video and even tried to paint it. Fall colours are the best! If you need to recharge and want to feel better just go for a walk to the Salt Marsh Trail!

  Fantastic hike. Best time to hike this trail is at low tide. At high tide all the marshes are covered. The entire trail is covered in gravel so your shins will hurt. First 4 km (from Halifax side) is especially great and over the water. Last 2.5km mostly in trees, not really that scenic but still worth the effort.

  Beautiful trail. Flat and very easy. Well kept, Outhouse along trail was clean. Garbage cans in goods shape and not overflowing. Can tell it's a well managed trail. If you love the ocean smell, it's a must do. If you're a pet owner, please pick up after your dog. No excuses. They even provide bags at the trail head.
